Things you should do: Very Important!

1) Flush cooler lines, and check cooler flow...         

2) Put at least 1- 2 quarts of fluid in torque converter before installation...­

3) Check flywheel for any worn bolt holes or cracks...

4) Check crankshaft endplay and clean...­

5) Clean and grease torque converter pilot before installation...­

6) Only start each torque converter bolt and or nut at approximately 180 degrees as not to tilt converter then tighten as needed...­

7) Check for correct bolt size and length as incorrect bolt length will bottom out and cause irreversable damage to the dampner and or lockup clutch...

8) DO NOT! Install or remove torque converter bolts and or nuts with air tools...­
